During the summary, the first Sunday of each month is Family worship Sunday. All children from preschool through 6th grade will be in the adult service with their families.
This will give an opportunity for families to worship together, teach the children what takes place in grown-up church, help them develop a passion for worship by watching their parents worship and participating themselves, help them learn and develop a reverence for God, and it will encourage and help them feel a part of the whole body of Christ thus helping them feel a part of the church and instilling a relationship with Jesus and the family of God which will encourage them to stay connected to the church.
Yes, some of it will be over their heads but they will learn and remember things. It will give parents and friends an opportunity to educate and explain things further to the children.
Yes, it may be a bit noisier and wigglier in service.
