In the final chapter of John, Jesus appears again to the disciples on the shore of the Sea of Galilee while they were out fishing but as yet having had no success. At his prompt, they cast their nets on the right side of the boat and were unable to haul them all in. Rushing back to shore they find him with a fire of burning coals and fish and bread. "Bring your fish and come eat breakfast," he told them. None of them dared ask, "Who are you?" They knew it was the Lord. When they had finished, Jesus asked Peter if he loved him three times. Jesus told him, "Feed my sheep." Jesus also tells Peter the way in which he will die, and when Peter asks about John as well, Jesus says, "If I want him to remain until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me." In conclusion, John states that Jesus did many other things and if they were all written down even the whole world would not have room enough for the books that would be written.
