VBS Highlights & Recaps

What an incredible week it has been at Vacation Bible School! We've had so much fun singing, playing games, making crafts, and most importantly, learning about God's amazing love for us.

Each day, we focused on a different way God shows his love:

• Day 1: God Sees Me! We learned that God knows and sees each of us, just like Jesus saw and loved the children in the Bible.
• Day 2: God Cares For Me! We discovered that even in scary times, like the storm Jesus calmed, God is with us and cares for us.
• Day 3: God Loves Me! We heard the story of the woman at the well and how Jesus offers unconditional love to everyone.
• Day 4: God Forgives Me! We learned about God's amazing plan of love and forgiveness for everyone.
• Day 5: God is Faithful! We learned we can trust God to take care of us, just as he cares for the birds and flowers.

We hope your children have enjoyed learning these important truths and that they will continue to magnify God's love in their lives.

We have had an absolutely fantastic final day of VBS! We wrapped up our amazing week with our last session of fun games, joyful songs, and creative crafts. Our final big message was a comforting one: God is faithful.

Our Bible story came from a famous sermon Jesus gave on a mountain (Matthew 6:25-34). He taught everyone not to worry about things like food or clothes. He pointed to the birds and the flowers, explaining that if God faithfully takes such good care of them, we can trust that He will certainly take care of us, His children, whom He loves even more.

It was the perfect reminder that we don't need to worry because we can trust God to be faithful and provide for all our needs.

What a great Day 4 we had at VBS! The energy was high as we enjoyed our games, songs, and crafts. Today, we learned the very important message that God forgives me. 

Our Bible story focused on a man named Nicodemus, an important religious leader who came to visit Jesus secretly at night (John 3:1-21). He had many questions, and Jesus taught him one of the most famous and wonderful verses in the entire Bible: John 3:16. This verse explains God's amazing plan of love and forgiveness for everyone.

It’s a beautiful message that no matter who we are or what questions we have, Jesus invites us to believe in Him and receive forgiveness.

Remember, tonght our closing family program starts at 8:00pm, so invite friends and family, come grab a seat and watch your kiddos sings songs they learned this week, see more photos and meet other families who enjoyed a week of VBS at Grace. 

**Parents with kids in the Pre-K and K building: Please join us in the large multi-purpose building for the closing program. Our VBS helpers will be bringing your kids over to the large building to be a part of the closing program, and they will be released to sit with you after they sing their song, for the remainder of the program.

Day 3 of VBS was another incredible time together! We had a blast with our games, songs, and crafts, and we focused on one of the most important messages of all: God loves me.

Today’s Bible story was about a time Jesus met a woman at a well (John 4:1-42). In those days, most people would have ignored this woman, but Jesus stopped to talk with her. He knew everything about her, including her mistakes, and yet He offered her unconditional love and a new life. She was so amazed and filled with joy that she ran and told her whole town about Jesus!

This story is a beautiful reminder that no matter what we’ve done or who we are, God knows us completely and loves us deeply.

We had another wonderful day at VBS! In between all the fun songs, games, and crafts, we learned a very comforting message: God cares for me.

Our Bible story today was the exciting account of when Jesus was in a boat with his disciples and a big, scary storm appeared (Mark 4:35-41). The disciples were terrified, but Jesus showed his power and his care for them by calming the wind and the waves with just his words. It's a powerful story that shows us that even when we are scared, Jesus is with us and cares for us.

We had an amazing first day at VBS! Along with plenty of fun singing songs, playing games, making crafts, and we learned a very important message: God sees me.

Our Bible story today was about how Jesus welcomed children with open arms, showing everyone how much he loves and values them (Mark 10:13-16). It's a wonderful reminder that just as Jesus saw those children, God sees and knows your child personally!
