A Preview of Things to ComeRevelation 6 Recap As we continue our journey through the book of Revelation, we're encountering passages that can feel overwhelming, but remember - God gives us His truth not to scare us, but to prepare us for what's ahead. Summary: The sermon explored the beginning of God's end-time judgments as Jesus opens the seven seals, revealing the four horsemen of the apocalypse and the increasing intensity of tribulation that will come upon the earth. We examined how these events - conquest, war, famine, death, and cosmic disturbances - represent birth pains that will escalate in frequency and severity. Like a loving parent who warns a child about danger, God is giving us advance notice of what's coming so we can be ready and help others prepare. The message reminded us that while judgment is certain for those who reject Christ, believers need not fear because we are covered by the blood of the Lamb. Takeaways:
As we face uncertain times in our world, let's remember that Jesus holds the keys of sin, death, and hell. He is sovereign and in complete control. Our response should not be fear, but faithful preparation and urgent compassion for those who don't yet know Him.
